VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHEN REGISTERING
Practice Ball Requirement for All Players We are trying to eliminate the issues that practice balls have presented in the past. This season we are requesting that every player PURCHASE the Custom Acadiana Biddy Practice Basketball To ensure consistency and eliminate common issues with practice balls.Every player will be required to bring their own basketball to each practice. This ball must be the Custom Acadiana Biddy Practice Basketball, which is available for purchase only through registration. These balls are for practice use only and are specially ordered to meet our league standards. Because they require advance & special ordering, all purchases must be completed by a certain deadline to guarantee delivery before each player’s first practice. The main benefits of the Custom Acadiana Biddy Practice Basketballs are:
- High-quality and safe for both indoor and outdoor use.
- Maintains court standards & keep our courts from damage
- Ensures every player has the correct size ball for practice & home drills, which is critical for skill improvement
- Offered at an unbeatable price for their quality.
If you are registering more than 1 player, and they require the same ball size, you may only purchase 1 ball; If each player requires different sizes, you have the option to purchase either 1 or 2 Practice Balls.
You can also upgrade your player’s Basketball Choice to our Custom Acadiana Biddy Game Balls which can serve as your player’s practice Ball.

Correct Age Group VERY IMPORTANT
*WHATEVER THE PLAYER'S AGE IS ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2025, IS THE AGE GROUP HE/SHE WILL PLAY* PLEASE REGISTER IN THE CORRECT AGE GROUP. All players must play in their correct age group! Players may NOT move up for better competition as each age group has sufficient competition. Due to limited spaces in each age group as well as meeting Biddy Basketball & ALL-STAR Eligibility requirements, ALL players must play in their respective age groups based on the age they are on SEPTEMBER 1, 2025. If you register your player under the incorrect age group based off the players date of birth and age on September 1, 2025, the system will alert us, and we will apply the player’s correct age group if necessary.
T-SHIRT/JERSEY SIZE:
PLEASE BE SPECIFIC. NOTE: this will be the size we order for your child's jersey. We will not reorder new jerseys @ our cost due to this info being incorrect. Sizes can only be changed & corrected up to a few days after drafts & before uniform orders are submitted! See below size estimates on fit of jerseys (estimate only)
Uniform Policy
Every player will receive a jersey once placed on teams on the first game day and will be given to them by their coach. All players must also have Navy Basketball shorts & White Socks for the season. You may purchase them through Acadiana Biddy when you register & there may be some for sale on the first few startup & game days in case anyone else needs them. It is suggested that you purchase them through registration if possible. We do not prescribe a brand of shorts or socks, but we require the shorts to be Navy “Basketball” Shorts and the socks to be white.
Coaching
If you are interested in coaching, please fill out the information requested on the player’s registration form. Please also send an email to BBRODHEADTEAMAB@GMAIL.COM indicating your interest in becoming a coach. This is not a confirmation you are a coach. We have a strict selection process for our coaches, and anyone interested will be considered in our selection process pending there are available coaching spots to be filled. You will still need to undergo the coach’s application process once we determine those official coaches.

Acadiana Biddy Basketball is 100% self-funded by our members and receives no financial support other than the donations and sponsorships we receive. If you are interested in sponsoring through any of the sponsorships that we offer, please fill out the information on your player’s registration & see all of the sponsorships we offer and what they include. You can become a sponsor through your players registration if you choose or you may register under the sponsorship tab on our website.
*EVERY TEAM in the league will need a TEAM sponsor. Team Sponsorships are spent court upkeep and improvements at gyms, educational coaching supplies, medals and trophies, and offsetting the increasing costs of facility use, uniforms, insurance, referees, & other important & necessary costs.
