2025 ACADIANA BIDDY BASKETBALL SUMMER LEAGUE

The Acadiana Biddy Basketball Summer League is composed of 4-5 weeks of instructional basketball.  It will be a shortened version of the Acadiana Biddy Regular League Season. It will be more like a Developmental league where skills and drills are most important.  There will be game situations and games played; however, this league is to improve skills through fundamentals.

Each practice will be different but will include fundamentals, individual and team skills, speed and agility, practice with drafted team sessions, and some type of scrimmage or game. The summer league season sessions will end with drafted teams that will play each other and then end with a playoff tournament championship to put into action the previous weeks’ drills & learned skills through play! One night per week for 4-5 weeks. 

Times & Days for each age group will depend on numbers, however, practice times will be 5:45 pm - 7:30 pm. After final numbers are in, we will split up the age groups at different times & days and will let everyone know their day and time prior to the start-up of events

When: The following dates are instructional dates.  Players will attend one night per week and will depend on age.

1. Tuesday June 3^rd / Wednesday June 4^th / Thursday June 5^th (Maybe week)
2. Tuesday June 10^th / Wednesday June 11^th / Thursday June 12^th
3. Tuesday June 17^th / Wednesday June 18^th / Thursday June 19^th
4. Monday June 23^rd / Wednesday June 25^th / Thursday June 26^th
5. Monday June 30^th / Tuesday July 1^st / Wednesday July 2^nd (Maybe Week)
6. Monday July 28^th / Tuesday July 29^th / Wednesday July 30^th
7. Saturday August 2^nd (We may end on this Saturday for everyone TBD)

AGE: The players age on the date player is registered for event is the age group your player should be registered under

Times: First session will begin at 5:45pm & will last 1.5-2 Hours (Tentative).

Cost: $150. No uniforms are needed; Jerseys will be provided when needed.

Deadline to Register: Please register before Tuesday May 27, 2025, to ensure a spot. However, spaces will fill up quickly, and once the number limits are reached for each age group the rest will be put on the waitlist. So please register before the deadline to make sure your player gets in!

Volunteer Coaches: Acadiana Biddy (Ashley, Blair, Beau, and Brad) along with a staff of coaches will lead most practices, however, if any Coach is interested in helping, it would be greatly appreciated! We are looking for a few volunteer coaches to coach a team. All that is required is that you are available for your players days and times for practices and/or games. We are working on getting these coaches but would greatly appreciate anyone who would like to help out.
