The Acadiana Stars family will forever mourn the loss of Terri Louque Baudier, coach and mother of Brie Baudier (7/8s All Stars, 2008), who passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008. Mrs. Baudier was a dedicated and loving educator, parent, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Garland E. “Butch” Pollard The Acadiana Stars family will forever mourn the loss of Garland E. “Butch” Pollard, longtime, passionate friend and supporter of Acadiana Biddy Basketball and Acadiana Stars AAU Basketball.  Father of Julia and Elizabeth Pollard, both highly accomplished players of Acadiana Biddy and Acadiana Stars AAU basketball.  Husband of Mary Pollard, longtime volunteer to both Acadiana Biddy and Acadiana Stars AAU basketball.  Butch will always be remembered for his willingness to help either program in any way needed. He was the program’s favorite “clock” person for years.  He spent countless hours helping out at games and tournaments whenever needed.  He was most happy and proud watching his daughters play basketball.  The Acadiana Biddy Basketball and the Acadiana Stars AAU Basketball programs will forever be honored to have had such a dedicated supporter and friend who will be dearly missed.
